Interview Tips

Interview is a process that must be traveled by those who wish to hold public office or government. Interview process is important because it is the last stronghold of determining whether your business has been chosen to fill in the SPA and also attended the test session will provide grand or otherwise disappointment.

Make sure you prepare well before the face interviews because without adequate preparation, you will return home disappointed and frustrated.

Here are 5 basic and easy tips that can be followed by your government will work through the interview:

1. Take heavy manners and interview order

Application and show that reflects your personality as if an executive is confident, charismatic. For men, ties and shoes, shirt and pants that match, while for women, wearing the appropriate executive. Do not shy or blazer to wear, because it is not something you will do each day. Make sure you come early to the interview session, complete with all necessary documents.

2. Know your role and duties

Recheck the position applied for and list job duties and roles that may be lifted if you successfully hold the job vacancies offered. If asked, "In your opinion, what are the duties of office duties as an Officer Supervisor your tree now?", The last thing you want happening is a failure to answer the above question and not just dumb in front interviewer. Get information from several sources such as websites, handbooks, friends and family members who partner with the government.

3. Create a study on the structure and organization of government administration

Create a little research about some departments or ministries, especially the task of the work carried on by different departments. Create a comparison with the state administration (and others) to understand differences in terms of structure and function. This is especially important for those who will attend the interview PTD (Diplomatic and Administrative Officer).

4. Take out the current issues and latest

An employee of the government must always be sensitive to the political, social and economic development that occurred in and outside the country. For example, interviewer may ask your opinion about American foreign policy that the policy adopted by the new President Barrack Obama. Meanwhile, in the context of state, you may be asked to describe your opinion about a concept introduced by the Malaysian Prime Minister to-6, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

5. Description answer though do not know the answer right

Is not something shameful if you do not know the answer to an interview question. But, do not just say "sorry, I do not know". Instead, try to explain how you know and show business to interviewer that you are willing to work hard to get any knowledge or information.

In fact, other than to test knowledge, interviewer want to know the extent of efforts or initiatives you try. They also want face to face with prospective employees who have the skills to communicate and they can make an analysis to questions and issues.

Hopefully you Successful!

Malaysia Career Fairs in Feb & Mar 2010

More universities and colleges in Malaysia are organizing career fairs nowadays. It is a value-added service provided to their graduates and final year students.

For employers, this is an opportunity to hire and fill up their entry-level positions. The investment in renting and setting up a career booth varies. With a standard shell scheme booth that comes with 3m x 3m panels, company name displayed on booth, company name listed in the program book as well as their career fair website plus meals can be as low as RM450 per day. But usually with such package, the fair will run for at least two days, like in the case of Uniten, OR three days, in the case of UKM and USM.

Manpower is needed to man the booth. Usually personnel from the Human Resource department or the hiring department will be stationed at the booth for it only makes sense that job seekers can talk directly to someone from the company that is able to provide all the required information about the job and the company.

But, what if you are facing a budget and manpower constraint? Are there any alternatives? Good news is yes.
